There was summer tire in peak winter season. Was really hard to drive the car in snow, make the trip uncomfortable and risky.
We completely understand that driving in the snow can be stressful, especially during a snow storm. For transparency, this vehicle was not advertised with winter tires although it has ALL SEASON rated M+S. To help avoid any future inconvenience, guests who prefer winter tires can use Turo’s filter to view only vehicles equipped with them before booking. We are sorry for your experience and we encourage you to use our discount code to try some of our newer cars with winter tires and AWD.

I don't like the way they told me that the car would be monitored by GPS after I confirmed that I would be renting the vehicle. I thought it was deceptive. In my opinion it should be a part of the opening speech.

The extra reminder is sent after pickup to avoid overlapping with the pickup instructions. It is required for safety and insurance, and it is not used to monitor where you drive.
