The car had engine issues and wouldn’t idle correctly. The check engine light came on during driving. The owner brought us another vehicle, which was appreciated. The second vehicle had a brake issue and wouldn’t completely stop! The vehicle was dangerous. The owner told us there was nothing wrong with the second vehicle and TURO made us pay even though we had to drive to another location and rent a car from a different company. We wasted several hours of our business trip. It was an absurd experience.
This was the first bad experience I have had with this turo app but it was absolutely ridiculous. I likely won’t use Turo again. I then had to go through a massive procedure and they still charged me! I should have charged them.

We’re sorry this trip was frustrating. When an issue arose, we acted immediately and provided a replacement vehicle to minimize disruption. All charges, refunds, and final decisions are handled solely by Turo under their policies, and we have no authority to override them. While we regret the inconvenience, we did everything within our control to assist and followed Turo’s required procedures throughout, 1 star should goes to Turo not us not a fair review. .
