A disaster at pickup. The host Devrim posted 12 pics but not the location in the long term pickup area. After 20 minutes of searching we found a Mini , not the Countryman Mini we had booked. I thought perhaps there was a mistake in the listing. It had a lock box, I punched in the code, the key worked and off we went. That night I looked at my online Visa bills and discovered I was charged $200 then refunded $15 by Turo. The car had been in the lot for 13 days. The next day I chat with Devrim who starts screaming at me with F Bombs saying I stole his car. I return the Mini to the lot the next day with proper instructions to find the Mini Countryman.....using the same lock
box code as the Mini. To add insult to injury I had to pay $40 to get out of the lot as the car had now been there for 3 days. I am now out of pocket $225.
I would expect AT LEAST partial compensation for parking and inconvenience. The rudeness and overall attitude of no compensation just floored me. I hope this is just a one off but I am an innocent victim here.
