The Tesla Model X did the job we needed and was a good choice for our group thanks to the 7-seat configuration. I enjoy driving Teslas, and the vehicle was spacious and comfortable.
A couple of things to note: there was a noticeable weed smell in the car, likely from a previous renter. Also, this is an older Model X, so the technology feels dated compared to newer Teslas, and the screen can be a bit laggy.
We also learned that a Tesla isn't the most convenient option for a trip to Niagara Falls, as we spent about an hour charging before heading out and again before leaving. For similar trips, I'd probably choose a hybrid unless I'm mainly doing city driving.
Overall, it did the job and met our needs.
