TLDR; handling and quality is what you would expect for a 2018 vehicle, start and end of the trip was disappointing but take into consideration the cheap price point. Host was responsive, however some additional points for consideration below for future drivers:
- Car was drivable, but steering wheel was not aligned (tracking to the right) and there were very loud braking noises throughout the trip even when braking slowly (passengers being picked up or sitting in the back seat could hear it). We brought this up to the host and he asked us to leave this information off of the review, which does not feel transparent for future drivers to make an informed decision when renting
- Interior marks/stains on the dash, steering wheel, doors, seats and crumbs in all cup holders; we used 15 wet wipes and aired out the car overnight before feeling comfortable (it wasn’t appalling but definitely was not comfortably clean; we have the photos but can’t attach to review)
- It felt like the host did not get the car cleaned as there was trash and used wipes all around the outside of the car and a musky smell at pick up
- There were paper car floor mats, but if you lift the papers you can see the mats are not clean
- Back seats and passenger seats were spacious and comfortable, leather interiors were nice
- MagSafe phone stand/charger and additional blind spot mirrors were appreciated; note that the front windows are tinted so it’s a bit of an adjustment if you’re not used to it
- Host was responsive and helpful in navigating insurance questions
- Car ready at exact minute of pickup with gas tank half empty (after asking about it he told us to just return the tank at a similar amount)
- The host advised that the gas tank was originally ‘marginally above half’ and suggested we top up further to avoid ‘being charged by Turo for a convenience fee’

Car is in a very good condition. It has so much power and drives smoothly. AC is cold which is great if you’re traveling in the summer.
Mitul is accommodating and responsive.

Just an inconvenience of a vehicle not being clean
I strongly contest the above review. The car was completely clean at the pickup. The guest didn't highlight any concerns related to cleanliness at any given point of time during the trip.
