Please do not rent this vehicle. I can’t speak on the other vehicles this host offers but the Maserati I rented broke down halfway through the trip and would not start.
At the very start of the trip I noticed the check engine light - I snapped a photo of it but didn’t think too deeply into it as I didn’t think someone would offer to rent a vehicle that had major issues with it.
Had to get the car towed back to the host halfway through my trip.

For context, the guest confirmed in Turo messages that the vehicle started before the tow truck arrived, but still chose to have it towed. The car was inspected by a mechanic that same day and no mechanical, electrical, or battery faults were found. I simply want future guests to have the full context.

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental. The night before pickup, the host informed me that the previous renter had damaged the side fender and described it as a minor issue, but no photos were provided in advance. When I saw the vehicle in person, the damage was significant, and the fender piece was completely removed, giving the car a very poor appearance from the first sight.
I rented this vehicle for both business and leisure purposes, and the condition of the car was not what I expected based on the listing photos. Since I was notified so late, I had no practical time to find another rental, so I had to continue with the trip. The visible damage negatively affected my business use of the vehicle.
I also had concerns regarding the host’s communication. When I raised the issue, the response was unprofessional and included rude/offensive wording, which made the experience even worse.
In addition, I returned the vehicle with the same fuel level I received it, but I was still charged for refueling and a convenience fee, which I do not agree with.
Overall, the vehicle condition, communication, and post-trip charges made this a very poor rental experience. I would not rent from this host again.

For accuracy, I notified you of the vehicle’s condition before pickup and uploaded photos to the trip photos the night before, which you acknowledged before proceeding with the trip. Regarding the fuel charge, Turo reviewed the trip photos and evidence from both parties, approved my fuel reimbursement claim, and paid it. I strive to communicate transparently and document every trip for the benefit of all guests. I wish you all the best
