I made 3 different reservations for this vehicule, everything went well untill it was time to return it after 2.5 months of continued rental and more then 3k$ spent on renting the car. I called the owner Andrei and explained I had to go to the sugar shack with my mom and then fly to calgary for a couple weeks, he assured me it was fine and the car would be reserved for my return. I filled up more gas in the car because I wanted to be nice and told him it was a bit dirty because of the outing to sugar shack. He assured me it wasnt a problem.
1 day after I returned it, he tried to charge me 154$ for a 20$ car wash and maybee rincing the footrest that had some mud on it after he assured me on the phone it wasnt an issue. After I messaged him about it, he told me it wasnt him that charged me that but truro.. I understand upselling, but why try to fleece a guy that gave you 3k$+ for a simple cash wash/footrest rince. If I smoked or had dog crap in there I would understand, but 154$ for a car wash??
I don’t even know how to start by responding to your comment…your call was not about the car being extremely dirty…if you know that you had to rerun it you knew that it’s your responsibility to rerun in in the same shape the car was. Also I want to state that you have scratched the car and only reported it as “ a minor scratch…enterprise doesn’t really care when I rent from them”. Well I guess your opinion or a door quarter panel and rear bumper. The cleaning violation was explained by Turo
