Would not have booked had I known it wasn't a contactless/remote pickup. Booking was for 3pm but owner/vehicle did not arrive until 3:30pm. Vehicle had a strong perfume smell. Vehicle also required servicing in 80kms. The screen for Android Auto worked off and on. Before dropping off it was also noticed that the rear tires were almost bald as well. There was an Apple Airtag within the vehicle as well (our phones notify us of unknown tracking devices that travel with us). I understand the need to track your vehicle however we were not told about the Airtag. On drop off we had to wait for the owner to attend so we could give them the keys because the vehicle would not lock with them in the vehicle. The convenience of Turo was not there and would have been better off/more convenient booking with a rental car company.
