The car was as mentioned and in good condition. Good for a small family road trip

I notified Bowen in advance that I would not be able to travel due to the WestJet strike. Despite knowing I was unable to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that no refunds would be provided. The vehicle was still dropped off, and I continued to receive the usual pickup messages, even though it was clear I could not use the rental.
I also requested a credit to be applied toward a future rental, given that the vehicle went completely unused because of circumstances beyond my control. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response to that request.
Losing $1,500 over an event outside of my control was extremely disappointing. While I understand that businesses have policies, I had hoped for some flexibility, compassion, or a willingness to find a reasonable compromise. Based on this experience, I would not choose to rent from this company again.
