The host was responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with throughout our rental. Unfortunately, our experience with the vehicle itself was very disappointing.
We rented the 2016 Jeep Cherokee for one month, but the vehicle had ongoing issues from the beginning. We consistently had to jump-start the car just to get it running, which caused delays and made it difficult to rely on the vehicle for our planned trips.
On the 4th day, the car showed a low battery indicator and other warning indicators on the dashboard. Eventually, on the 8th day, the engine would no longer start even with a jump-start, leaving us without a usable vehicle.
The owner offered to replace the car on the 30th. However, the replacement was not delivered as promised, and we were told it would arrive the following day. Because we had a planned trip on the 30th, we could not wait another day and had to cancel our plans as well as the remaining rental.
We had originally booked the vehicle for one month, but due to the repeated starting issues and the failure of the engine to start at all, we had to cancel after only 8 days.
I appreciate that the host was responsive and tried to accommodate us, but unfortunately, the condition and reliability of the vehicle significantly affected our trip and resulted in delays, inconvenience, and a cancelled rental.
