The only reason for the four stars was because our host was unable to provide access to the car via the Tesla App. I have owned a Tesla Model Y for over 4 years, and it was a bit of an inconvenience not having access to features available on the app. This is our first TURO Experience, and likewise first experience with UGT Hosting. I have already recommended TURO and UGT Hosting to colleagues and friends. We did enjoy the flexibility that our host provided in pickup and return, as we had some changes in both points as we learned how the process works. TURO could also make improvements on message notifications, as there have been a few messages that I didn't immediately see.

I was deeply disappointed with renting from UGT and would not rent from them again.
They delivered the car one hour late, which left us waiting around for them to show.
Their communication was very poor. Sometimes it would take them 24 hours to respond. Sometimes they did not respond at all.
The mentioned there would be no extra fees above what Tesla charged for the Supercharger, and yet I found out on my invoice that there was in fact an extra charge.
Their ad says that there are the end user would be reimbursed any airport parking charges at YVR, however, after the cancellation period had passed they sent an email saying that the end user would be responsible for any YVR parking charges. Luckily the handoff at the beginning and end was quick so we didn't incur any charges, but I didn't appreciate the bait and switch, and inconsistent messaging from UGT.
Finally, I don't know how safe their cars are; this one had a tendency to drift to the right and I don't know how frequently they have their cars serviced.
On the plus side, it was clean, and I appreciated having the charging adapter included, as well as a USB cord for phone charging.
But overall, I would encourage you to stay away from UGT. They have a high rating but if you look closely, only 40-something people have rated despite over 800 trips, so I suspect there are probably a lot of silent, unhappy UGT customers out there.

Had a great experience with UGT Car Rental. The process was smooth, the car was clean and reliable, and everything went as expected. Communication was easy and the service was friendly. Would definitely rent from them again!
