The vehicle was easy to find, clean, and drove great, but the overall experience was stressful.
Our trip was unexpectedly extended due to an airline disruption while traveling with our infant. I understand the host couldn’t extend the reservation because the vehicle was already booked, but communication became much sparser and more rigid after we requested a refund through Turo.
During the return process, we agreed to change the location so that the host would pick up the vehicle at my location, but the reservation was never updated, so that I couldn’t complete the return in the app. Despite multiple messages, I received little communication until after the vehicle was picked up.
Turo Support also wasn’t very helpful in resolving the situation, which added to the frustration.
Overall, I’d think twice before relying on Turo.

I understand that you had an isues with airline. You booked your trip as a non-refundable trip. So you save money but you cannot change your trip. As per your request; instead of returning the car at 4:00 AM. I agreed to pick up the car 35 minutes away from our location, I did a favor to you. I hope that you book a flexible reservation on your next trip. It is unfair that you wanted to cancel my car last minute which you had booked months ahead. I am disappointed with unfair review.
Renting from Mehdi was a fantastic experience from start to finish. He was incredibly communicative and made the whole process effortless – he walked us through a clear car overview, laid out his housekeeping guidelines upfront, and the drop-off process couldn't have been simpler. The Subaru Outback was a perfect choice for the Canadian Rockies. Would rent from Mehdi again without hesitation – highly recommend!
