Mark was friendly, informative, and personable at pickup. The Jeep was easy to drive and was well equipped with charging cables and audio adapters, and the available extras were a nice touch. Being able to rent bear spray instead of buying it was especially convenient. Cooler was also a nice addition.
Based on other reviews, I believe Mark is generally a great host. However, I can only speak to my own experience, which had a few hiccups. The vehicle was delivered about 30 minutes later than scheduled. While not a major issue on its own, I had an evening arrival and the delay meant I no longer had time to grocery shop, which pushed back our plans for the following day. The fuel tank was also only about three-quarters full at pickup. Mark mentioned he was tracking our flight and that it appeared delayed, but we actually landed about five minutes early.
For the return, we were instructed to park the vehicle at an off-site lot and take a shuttle to the terminal. Turo later informed us that this is not in line with their policy for YYC deliveries. This added roughly 15 minutes to our travel time, which was especially inconvenient with an early morning flight.
Overall, I do believe Mark is a good host, but unfortunately this particular rental was not as smooth as I had hoped.
