Everything was really good about this rental until the drop off when Lance started going on about two tiny scratches halfway up the hood of the car. At the pick up he gave me the keys and left, no inspection done at all but at the drop he walks straight to the front of the car to look at the scratches, asks if I bought the insurance and immediately makes a damage claim. I said that’s just wear and tear and a rental company would not care and he then asked me if I was even from Canada like I was too stupid to understand what he was saying. Felt like a shakedown.
