We rented a 2022 Kia Carnival 8 seater van while in Vancouver, BC. The pick up location is very close to the airport and the process was smooth.
Vehicle was very clean inside and outside. Local driving was fine, brakes felt a little weak but manageable.
On day 2 of our trip we drove to whistler and that's when I realized that the brakes/rotors on this van were completely done. The car would shake on braking and you could hear metal on metal creaking noise. The cheap Chinese tires with limited tread didn't help the case. Long distance driving felt unsafe especially on winding mountain roads.
I relayed my concerns with the customer service who initially asked me to bring the van back for inspection at the pick up location.
Due to our tight itenarary, I wasn't able to do so. The customer service was very responsive and polite and offered to exchange the van for another Kia Carnival LX model towards the end of the trip. By then, we had dropped the idea of driving it to Kelowna.
I would give the van 3.5 stars. Cars should be mechanically inspected before renting out especially if it has high mileage.

Great customer service, they really do their best. Slow leak at departure on rear right tire, as they are next to a tire shop they fixed it before I go for the week long trip. Another tire ended up having another very slow leak, have to inflate twice in 7 days which is not that bad. Still tires are tired especially in rainy condition. Kids car seat was a great + to have. Car was very cleaned as they are a washing esthetic location also. For sure the car had some milage in, but it did not show much. Perfect for us. Ready on time, quick to leave and quick to drop back. Very pro, all pictures taken in advance, they are used to Turo for sure ! I recommend them and this Carnival car for long trips with family.

Air conditioning was not working.
Could not be fixed; had to had many follow up; delivery of vehicle was later due to which i had lots of booking cancelled rebooked trip curt short and on top of it vehicle cooling system was not working and had to had extensive follow ups
