The van itself was functional and great for our trip but arrived with issues that should have been caught before rental or at least be informed about. A middle row seat was not properly secured by the previous renter and could not be fixed during the trip; a safety concern that should be part of every post-trip inspection. At 209,000 km the vehicle had noticeable sounds while driving consistent with high mileage wear. The Android Auto connection was not operating due to a loose port. For a premium-priced rental, the pre-trip inspection and maintenance standard needs to be significantly better. Host should verify seat configurations and connectivity features are functional before each rental.
