Pick up was bit confusing as it’s a car repair place not a private owner. Also, the parking brake didn’t work. The engine was doing weird stuff and the shocks weren’t great. Won’t be renting from here again.

honestly, i was expecting an A1 clean car considering the host is a car garage that professionally repairs cars. But there were so many details about the car i rented that made the ride annoying. The steering wheel was not aligned, so releasing it would steer the car to the left, the emergency break was broken, the radio was glitching (i dont care as much about this), one of the seats could not go down. The break was a little bit shaky, probably due for change soon, also not the worse.
Another annoying thing but not deal breaker: i attempted to change the time in my booking, but the host never approved the time change within Turo, only by text meesages. I was still able to pick up the car earlier as planned, but i wish the host was most responsive on the app.
Apart from those details, i had a decent experience, and despite having got a bump on the bumper from parking on the street overnight, the host made it easy to file with the insurance so no extra charges for that. The car was clean.
