The van suffered a tire failure on the freeway and had no spare, so it had to be towed. The host instructed me to purchase an all-season replacement tire, gave me the correct tire size, and told me to submit the invoice and photos to Turo. After I paid the full cost of the new tire, the host declined reimbursement and directed me back to Turo. At the time of this review, Turo had not provided a decision or meaningful response. I was willing to pay a reasonable portion, but I do not believe I should have had to pay the full cost of a brand-new tire replacing one that already had substantial prior use.
