This host demonstrated a concerning lack of integrity and professionalism. After my trip, he claimed the vehicle had been taken off‑road or used for a camping trip based solely on “assumptions,” with no evidence whatsoever. Introducing an unsubstantiated accusation into a damage claim is unacceptable and shows an intentional insertion of bias rather than responsible hosting.
The actual claim was for a few barely visible cosmetic rock specks on the windshield, the kind that are extremely common on Alberta roads and occur during normal city driving. Despite this, the host attempted to frame the situation as something far more serious without any factual basis.
Renters deserve honesty, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this host did not provide any of those qualities.

As a host, I document the vehicle's condition before and after each trip and report any newly observed damage through Turo's process. I submitted pre-trip and post-trip photos for Turo's review and let them decide further steps to avoid any Biased Decision.
