The 2016 Dodge Caravan we rented was in working order to get us into the Canadian Rockies for long periods of driving.
We drove from Calgary to Jasper and back alongside other trips with no issues however, the rear right sliding door’s lock was jammed and could not be locked which can be a liability issue as well as the key fob’s buttons to lock and unlock the vehicle were not working.
We had to use the buttons that opened the rear doors to get inside the vehicle and since the right sliding door was unable to lock, we had to have at least one person stay inside the vehicle most times for security purposes as we did not want to risk our belongings or the vehicle being stolen. We had to adapt and change a lot of our plans for the security of everything.

Very easy process to collect and drop of the car and the vehicle was perfect for what I needed it for. The hosts were very good and quickly responded to any questions.

The pick-up and return process were detailed and easy to follow. The car drove well, especially considering it’s around 10 years old.
One thing I’d recommend for future renters is to take plenty of photos and thoroughly inspect the car’s condition before driving off, just so everything is documented beforehand. I did experience some issues with the key fob buttons when locking and unlocking the car, but I let the host know and he responded quickly that he'll take a look at it after the return.
