Have had at least four vehicles on Turo that have each had at least one completed trip during the past 365 days. The vehicles don’t all have to be listed at the same time.**
Earn $36,000+ during the past 365 days
Power Host status is reevaluated quarterly and you can track your performance in the “Performance” tab.
How to do it
Keep your calendar and settings up to date to avoid canceling on guests. You can start getting bookings as soon as your listing is published.
Offer delivery, especially to airports – A significant portion of bookings involve delivery and hosts who offer airport delivery show up higher in search results.
Price competitively – Many new hosts lower their prices a little and focus on offering a great guest experience. Check out pricing insights on your vehicle’s calendar page.
How to do it
Optimize for delivery – Power Hosts typically deliver for five of their first 10 trips.
Don’t cancel trips – Fulfill every booking to help keep your metrics high and help get more bookings. This is especially critical for newer hosts. In fact, almost half of hosts who cancel their first booking never get a second one.
Maintain an 85% 5-star rating for all completed trips – Build a good reputation on Turo by offering a great guest experience.
Exclusive perks

Special opportunities to get extra bookings
85%+ overall 5-star ratings for all completed trips
80%+ 5-star maintenance ratings for all completed trips
80%+ 5-star cleanliness ratings for all completed trips
3% or lower cancellation rate for all trips
20+ completed trips, or 80 trip days across five trips
Earn at least $850/month on your first vehicle – Make sure your first vehicle is performing well before considering adding more vehicles. Power Hosts typically start adding additional vehicles after their first one begins earning $850 per month.
Add a second vehicle – Once you’re comfortable with how your first vehicle is earning, start growing your business by adding a second vehicle.
Add a third and fourth vehicle – Most Power Hosts decide to add a third and fourth vehicle when they’ve reached $1,000 in earnings per car per month.
Sustainably add additional vehicles if needed – Depending on your performance, specific vehicle portfolio, and market dynamics, you may need more than four vehicles to earn $36k+ in a 365-day period. If this applies to you, continue to sustainably add additional vehicles to your portfolio.
The data above was collected in June 2023 drawing from hosts who created their accounts from January 2021 – June 2023.
*Turo reserves the right to revise Power Host requirements at our sole discretion.
**For example, imagine a host has a Toyota and Ford listed on Turo. Then they add a Honda, unlist the Ford, and add a Lexus. They would meet the four+ vehicles requirement as long as each vehicle has completed at least one trip during the past 365 days.
***Hosts based outside the US get a USD$100 Turo promo code which is converted to the equivalent amount in their local currency after each year as an All-Star Host.
****These future Power Hosts achieved All-Star Host status before the criteria were updated in October 2024.
