The Host was great. Fantastic communication, lots of pictures, convenient.
The car was a beater and the price and description did not warn of a beater.
A belt squealed every time I started the car(embarrassing).
Every time I walked up to the car I saw another dent, sratch of chip. I have never had to check the Turo host photos so many times in my life to verify pre-damaged. I picked the car up at night in a dark section of the lot, next time I will move it to a well lit area for pics (Turo what is the policy on this?). Made me regret insurance as the car was not getting fixed anyway.
The. Car was left with more than half and less than a 3/4 tank. This felt like a shady trick to get me to overfill and overpay for my has usage, which I did. Dropped off car with over 3/4.
This is the first time I think I would have been happier with a rental.
I could not help but to wonder if the host was charging clients for the dent or chip to the car, pocketing the cash and letting the next guy drive damaged goods for the same price.
As stated the host was prompt and had clear communication, but I would not recommend this car unless it was dirt cheap.
