The vehicle is in disgusting condition. It smells so bad like cigarettes. They chain smoke in the vehicle. I don’t know how anyone can rent out a vehicle in that condition.
This claim is completely false. I have a strict no-smoking policy (I have asthma) and ensure the car is odor-free before every trip. The vehicle was cleaned and inspected before and after—no smoke smell. No concern was raised during the rental. My consistent 5-star reviews reflect the actual condition of the car.

I had an A+ experience renting this vehicle. I highly recommend booking with this user. The host was great at communicating quickly and made pick up and drop off extremely easy. The car was very clean and ran great. Little touches like having an extra jug of windshield fluid in the back because it’s winter were appreciated. Thank you and I’ll definitely be renting again in the future!!

Bad experience.
1. Pickup was fine
2. The car was in a moderate state of neglect. Dirty inside and out
3. The owner explained that the engine light was on without explanation and offered empty reassurance that everything was fine (I was going on 800km trip).
4. The electronic systems of the car were all broken. All buttons were non functional. The blue tooth did not work. Phone calls cannot connect.
5. The car did not break down during the trip but I felt lucky because of the general state of neglect
6. When I dropped off the car the owner did not show, did not answer text, phone calls or Turo messaging. I had to call Turo customer service who also could not reach the host. I had to be given instructions by Turo to hide the key
Thank you for your feedback, Todd. I’m sorry you felt this way, as it’s not the experience I aim to provide. The car is serviced regularly and all key systems are functional — I have inspection records and many positive reviews to support this. Sometimes newer tech in a MINI can feel tricky; my own grandfather had similar difficulties connecting with Bluetooth and using the buttons, though everything works as intended.
