I recently had the pleasure of renting a car through Turo from Amid during my first visit to Newfoundland, CA, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I booked the rental, Amid was incredibly accommodating and professional, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.
The car was in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained, which made my travels all the more enjoyable. What truly set this experience apart, though, was Amid's personal touch. Not only did he provide the rental for 23 days, but he also took the time to recommend some fantastic restaurants in the area. His local insights made my trip even more memorable.

Pickup was relatively easy in a residential area. I did have to wait for the car to arrive and it was a little bit cold but it arrived warm and fully fueled. Handoff went really really well. I did find that the shifter was not it has smooth at times as the rubber tends to catch. Also the air conditioning I believe needs to be recharged as if it was warmer than plus 10 outside. It got very hot in the car. We did have one major hiccup during our trip where we started driving on the trans-canada highway and the bumper blew off with the wind. It could be reattached. However I was very timid about Highway driving with this vehicle. I appreciate the cell phone holder and charger located in the vehicle and the seat warmers worked very well.
Thank you for your feedback. The vehicle was inspected and serviced in April, including new bumpers and parking brake work, and had completed a 32-day trip without reported issues. I will have the AC checked. However, the vehicle was returned dirty, with stained seats, bumper damage, parking brake issues, and damage around the shifter area. If these concerns arose during the trip, I would have appreciated being informed immediately so they could be addressed.

Car had a little shake when breaking but he had told me about it at pickup. Besides that, the car drove smooth & was good on gas!
