Zijie was a kind and accommodating host but the car was not in the best shape. It had many cosmetic flaws and lacked sufficient power, installation, and maintenance. The heating system blew out cold and hot air at the lowest and highest temperature settings. I was not able to use the car trunk to store my possessions due to the lock not being secure enough. The picture of the car was very misleading. Also, be sure to allow time for your pickup and drop off because it takes the host 15 to 25 minutes to arrive to the airport.
I was initially charged a parking fee for the return of the vehicle but it was refunded by Turo because guests are not required to pay for parking fees on the return of a vehicle. I am not sure if the host was aware of this Turo Policy.
