• What are TURO's advantages over booking through other sites, apps and channels?

  There are plenty of ways to book rentals. Apps, sites, in person that it becomes diluted and selections become overwhelming. Regardless where you book and how you book. The rental terms and conditions remain the same outdated, corporate beneficial policy. So what makes TURO specifically better than the rest? Here are a few: -Seamless Pick up and drop off option. Rentals can be picked up and dropped off literally anywhere. Doorstep to doorstep. I come to you, not the other way around. No Ubers or skytrains or shuttles necessary for pick up/drop off. No long line ups during rush hour, I limit your wait to 0 minutes as much as possible. In most cases, I prefer to do the waiting! Contactless or in person. Your choice. -24 hour pre trip cancellation. Full refund, no reason required. Most rental companies cancellation window span from 48 hours and above. -In trip modification or early return capability. Traditional companies do not allow modifications or reservation. Even if they do, it would be an exception and is subject to additional fees. Turo allows modifications as plans change free of charge. Shortening trip? yes, we'll refund you back as well. -No surprise vehicle swaps. What you see is what you get. The most common Corporate rental trick. Cheap economy car promised, expensive cars only available during pick up. With TURO, what you see is what you get. Pictures are of the exact vehicle, down to the floor mats. -SELECTION. Are you like me that I value the car I drive when I travel? If so, this is a major point for you. For the same price, why not enjoy the drive instead of numb, boring, machines that will bore you out of your mind everytime you hop in. -Easy booking through app and your host and direct owner becomes your personal point of contact instead of changing employees who doesn't care about the vehicles or condition. Employees who can't wait to clock out or overworked that they stopped to care. As owners, we are directly responsible for maintenance and cleanliness. Thus, we are fully invested in making sure you receive an enjoyable experience as much as we enjoy our vehicles. -Damages of all types or incidents can be dealt with privately vs. Corporation who automatically go through inflated insurance. I will work with you to save you as much as possible because for the most part. Accidents are exactly just that. Accidents. -Negotiable pricing! This one is my favourite. Turo hosts have the one advantage no one has. Control over pricing. Pricing is out of your budget? Reach out. I will always find a way to make it work for you. Have you even contemplated negotiating the advertised price during traditional rental? Most likely not. We all know the outcome.

• The car is not available for the dates I want, do I have any other options?

  Yes, please contact me even if the dates are not available. If the date are blocked for cleaning, I can open the dates up. If the car is booked for another trip, I can offer you the closest option from my other vehicles that are available.

• Tips

  1. Turo offers 3 levels of insurance. Never choose Basic, this covers the guest for only up to $500 of liability for at fault or no ones fault insurance in an instance where the damage is unknown. At any point that the vehicle is under your possession, all new damages are charged to the guest. Hosts/Turo are not at risk when Basic is chosen but being a Host, my genuine intention is for every guest to enjoy the platform and continue to return with great experiences especially when they are not at fault. Mid level insurance covers up to $2500 and highest level covers 100%. In an event, the car is vandalized, hit and run etc.. this will come in handy. 2. Hosts can modify daily price up to a minimum the site recommends. Feel free to negotiate with your hosts if prices don't meet your budget. 2. Respect the car and the car will take care of you. 3. • How much do you charge for delivery? What if I only need pick up or drop off and not both?

  My delivery fee is $120 which includes drop off and pick up. This fee has been calculated based off my home locations distance to the most popular pick up spots averaging the costs between Uber and taxis. I do offer the flexibility of only pick up or drop off. The cost would then only be $60. Please contact me before or after the booking. The cost adjustment will be made on the invoice to reflect the proper charge. And of course it is free to pick up and drop off the vehicle at my listed location.

• Do you offer contactless pick ups?

  Absolutely! For pick ups and drop offs from my location. Please indicate if you wish to opt for contactless and I will provide all details via messages and instructions for Key pick up. Vehicle will be on my driveway cleaned and sanitized ready to drive.

• What’s your contact information?

• Can the car be taken across the border to the US?

  In short YES! Border is open for travel as of Nov. 1. Please advise during booking that the car will be travelling across border to ensure extra documents are included in the car.

• I really want to rent your car but the cost is too much 😞

  If you’re set to renting one of my vehicles but the budget just doesn’t allow it. Please contact me at 6043401148 and I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you and get you in the vehicle you prefer. 😁

• I don’t have access to clean the car upon return. How much do you charge for post to cleaning if added during booking?

  Guests are allowed to return vehicles with regular usage. Please inquire about my post trip cleaning fee that will allow you to return the vehicle that will require additional cleaning at a much lower cost.

• Chase's price match promise!

  I will match pricing of any other hosts with the following requirements: 1. Host must have 4.9 rating and above with at least 10 trips minimum (No ones perfect and 4.9 is still reasonable service) 2. Similar vehicle and category. an SUV and a VAN are not the same. etc. 3. Must be able to provide screenshot of total 4. Price match rate will only be applied at time of booking.

• I accidentally curbed your rim, do I have to pay for it??

  You'll be happy to learn that I personally do not charge my guests for aesthetic damages to the rims of any of my vehicles. I may be the only host that does this. Although this type of damage is claimable through Turo. I've made it a point to not nickel and dime my customers in that way. The lack of quick, reliably rim repair services in my city makes it extremely difficult to repair rims everytime they are curbed. This will also create a large amount of downtime on the vehicles. In exchange, I do ask for your understanding of any aesthetic flaws on the rims as the vehicles do go on large amount of trips and these things are unavoidable in most cases. The only damage that will be chargeable are for structural damages which compromises safety. Bending of the rim, cracked rim, etc.. These damages will be repaired immediately after it happens.
