My experience with this rental was unfortunately disappointing. Upon pickup, the host failed to inspect the vehicle and later pressured me to address alleged damage outside the app’s official process, which came across as unprofessional and concerning. The tires were in visibly poor condition, showing significant lumps and cracks—issues I only discovered after a long drive to Thunder Bay for a family event, which was genuinely alarming.
I returned the car in excellent condition—freshly washed and spotless—yet Naser questioned whether I had it professionally detailed, despite that not being a requirement of our agreement. Overall, I was dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. It felt as though the host prioritized his own interests rather than fairness and transparency.
Disappointed by this review, which leaves out key facts. The guest admitted the damage happened during the trip. He had Turo’s minimum insurance, which only covers damage over $2,000—anything less is the guest’s responsibility. He was upset about paying out-of-pocket and left a misleading review, focusing on unrelated complaints. I followed all of Turo’s procedures and always aim to provide a professional, best experience.
