It was a mix experience i went to pick up my car at exactly 1.30 pm but couldn’t open the locker box and it was another crazy summer day. I knocked, called on the given number no one replied or anything around 2.00pm after i called turo help the co - host antoine replied me in the turo app message and asked me to shake the locker box and i did but nothing happened my fingers were bruised already for 30 mins in the hot summer while trying to open up that locker box. And the most uncomfortable situation was people’s staring at me because it did look weird. At 2.05 i called him in his number he asked me to press the buzz code of his house and i did ,but nothing happened. Then the house care taker opened the door and start asking me questions (he was right from his side , i was infront of that house more than 45 mins now and trying to open the car and was trying to take little shade as well from the road in front of the house gate) . Then antoine talked to him, he asked me to wait inside the lobby and then he and i both went to the car again , he tried to open the lock box and was failed as well. Then he called antione wife shaddya and she came down it was already 2.30 pm and she failed as well. Then i waited a little while and then we decide they will bring the car to my house ( another uber cost which was not supposed to happen as i was planning to go on the road with the car) and i had to reschedule my whole appointment and my air bnb money was a complete waste. Then they came around to my place around 5.17 pm. And my appointments were with govt so changing them was nerve hassle. Turo helpline was a waste of time they provide the worse kind of services ever in situations like this. They ( antoine and shddya) did extend the trip till the morning( i booked the car for 2 days i was supposed to give it back around 11.30 pm but I extenaion was done till morning 7.30am but i gave the car around 5.15 am) which was supposed to end the night . If the trip wasn’t this nerve wrecking i would have appreciated it a lot more. I had to pump air in the tire as well. So it was a hectic and emotionally exhausting trip for me. But they are nice people. I wish them nothing but endeavours and prosperity. The car was in okay conditioned as i mentioned. But they are good people. It was just a mix situation.
