The owner of the car did not inform about the expired insurance and drivers license. When i booked the car it was under the name of Matt but ends to be under Gurpreet. It was my wife’s bday and we were out for celebrations in Tobermory. We were pulled over ample time due to which we missed our planned schedule and bookings. Cops acknowledged that Gurpreet’s DL and insurance were expired, this lead to failure of us reaching our vacation spot. This caused us $250-$300 loss in our bookings. I have the proof of expired insurance and communication from the owner where he commits he made a blunder. It was utter inconvinience and very dissapointing experience for us. I would recommend Turo to double check background of all the cars on the application, ridiculous experience and i just want to say please verify if renting out car from this owner.
