The car was great I have to say no issues with the car.. but this host was extremely rude and threatened me multiple times on the turo chat. My friend and I rented this car as we were in Hamilton filming a movie, the job site moved down to Barrie which we drove the car out to Barrie. For some reason we were having issues extending the trip on the turo app, I was very open with both the host and turo about my situation and turo told me I could drop the car off on Sunday and then pay for the remaining days. We physically couldn’t drive the car back to the host in Hamilton and he kept threatening me saying I was gonna get arrested and go to jail which was far from true, I then called the Hamilton police station and the police were very nice and understanding and told me I could drop the car off on Sunday, the police then contacted the host and the host told police I could drop off the car on Sunday so I thought my issue was resolved. The host then continued to threaten me to bring the car back when I had already said that was not physically possible. I was told to ignore the messages which I did but then I was in the gym and my friend forgot his bag in the car we went out to grab it and the car was being hooked up to a tow truck, the host nor turo told us that it was being towed and all of our personal belongings and medication was in the car. The tow truck driver refused to identify himself to us so we called the police who then told us the host got someone to tow the car. This was a very scary disaster I do not recommend this host to anyone as if you have any issues extending your trip you will be verbally threatened.
