First time booking with Turo and not a great start. Arrived to pick up rental but directions given by host on google map led us to Enterprise car rentals. Lined up for 20 minutes to find out that’s not where we’re supposed to be. Finally got to the car and vehicle was dirty. Crumbs and dust all over the seats, trunk was dirty and windows were extremely dirty to the point we could not see properly to drive away. We needed to head back into the airport washroom to find paper towels and water to clean the car and windows before we could leave. Before driving off, we had noticed there was no insurance or registration paperwork for the vehicle. Tried to contact the host with no response. Had to contact Turo directly and all they could do was tell us to drive without the records. As a previous law enforcer, I can tell you that it is illegal to drive any vehicle without the proper documentation in the vehicle under the traffic safety act. Asking me to drive this vehicle illegally does not hold a good reputation to Turo or its host. I would strongly advise you have this rectified before it is reported. We spent almost 2 hours in the parkade trying to resolve these issues and had to pay $35 for parking because the host dropped off the vehicle for us early in the morning and our pick up was at 4pm. As with other reviewer’s comments, upon starting the vehicle there was no washer fluid left to clean the windshield, the wipers do not clean properly, which again poses a safety risk to the renter. Cruise control worked sporadically, collision avoidance, blind spot monitors, brake assist and lane departure failed to work with error messages on the dashboard. Apple CarPlay did not connect properly and was given the vehicle with less than a full tank of gas. Was this a great experience for the price I paid for the vehicle? Over $1200 for 5 days with a half working vehicle and me breaking the law? I think Turo should be looking at vehicle standards before accepting vehicles under their company.

Car quality was excellent, Leon was very courteous and polite and offered to go over any questions I may have had with the car. Would rent from him again for sure.

The car was nice, but so many lights on in the car. Everytime I got in it various dashboard lights came up including oil change needed, no washer fluid, break assist non operational, etc.

Host was very accommodating and helpful in switching cars. This car has issues with the sensors so cruise control is not available. Otherwise a clean and fun car to drive.
