It was nice we could pick up the car from the airport. But we didn’t realize till right before we’d have to pay for parking - he had it parked there for over 2 days and we had to foot the bill.
The lock box was easy enough to use. To pick up and drop off.

The car seemed to be ok, except we noticed the AC didn’t work except when the car was moving. Anytime you’d stop at a light it would stop. Then we got a warning that the engine was overheating. From then until end of trip we weren’t able to use AC because the engine was in constant danger of overheating. We had to buy engine oil and coolant and top it off - he did reimburse us the cost of buying that, but not our time spent doing all that or the gas to get to parts store and back.

Pretty sure the radiator fan wasn’t working - seems he isn’t keeping up with proper maintenance. On the hour long trip back to airport on highway, we had to keep windows down and hot air going during 29 degree weather to keep the engine venting hot air and cooled enough to not overheat and leave us stranded and miss our flight.

The passenger front seat wasn’t able to move forwards or back as the lever that works it was off the track - yikes.

I also felt like the car was fairly dirty on the inside when we got it and there was garbage in the passenger visor that fell on my spouse when they opened it.

Communication also needs some work, the host didn’t always respond.

Nice car, smooth, good on gas, enjoyed the manual transmission..no problems. Host was cooperative and quick to respond to questions.
Didn't like that I had to unexpectedly pay $20 to get out of airport parking.
Otherwise pleasant experience..will look to rent this exact car again in the future
