Unfortunately the vehicle broke down unexpectedly, while in motion all electric alerts started flashing and eventually the vehicle was immobolized. I consider this a safety issue which should not have happened. Unfortunately I had to terminate the trip and struggle personally with Turo support, as the host did not provide with a solution.

I'm sorry your trip ended with a breakdown, but the car ran flawlessly for 11 days. The alternator was brand new (installed Oct 2025). A post-trip mechanical teardown revealed extensive water spots and copper oxidation inside the unit, confirming failure due to deep water exposure, not a lack of maintenance. I was fully responsive, but independent hosts cannot instantly deliver replacement cars; Turo handles those logistics. I regret that environmental factors cut your trip short.
