Together with the teams at Trees for Cities and Percent, Turo UK will be offsetting the carbon emissions for every trip taken during April in celebration and recognition of World Earth Day.

Taking place on April 22, World Earth Day is now in its 51st year of uplifting and promoting positive environmental actions worldwide. Over the course of half a century of action, it’s become the largest civic movement in the world, and this year, Turo UK is playing a part, too.

For every trip made by guests during April, Turo will offset the carbon emissions created during the journey by planting greenery in cities across the UK. With the help of Trees for Cities, who work with communities to create spaces that protect and restore the environment, Turo will give back to the areas where vehicles are most used. Since their inception, Trees for Cities have planted over one million trees around the world. The partnership was facilitated thanks to Percent, who help to build donations and purpose into everyday transactions.
