Summer is heating up! Stay up to date on recent and upcoming changes that help you boost bookings and stay competitive all season long. In this issue, you’ll learn about improvements to the booking experience, airport trip enhancements, pricing strategies for longer trips, and more!

Improving bookings from start to finish

From simplified pricing displays to clean and consistent listings, these upcoming changes help guests move quickly from browsing to booking your car.

COMING SOON

Simplified daily pricing in price breakdowns

Today, guests worldwide see transparent prices upfront, so they always know the total trip price including Turo fees. Starting July 28, the daily prices that guests see in price breakdowns will include the delivery fee to further focus on what matters to them when they’re comparing cars: the total price.

While the “free delivery” tag will no longer appear in search results, pricing tools can help you set competitive prices that stand out in search results to help drive demand, and free or low-cost delivery will still be a factor in boosting your search ranking.

Updated vehicle listings to help boost bookings

Starting July 28, vehicle listings will have a new, clean look to simplify guests’ browsing experience and help increase bookings.

The vehicle description and guidelines sections will be removed to create cleaner, more consistent listings to help guests book with confidence. And Turo now highlights key rules and vehicle features so you don’t have to. FAQs and parking info will just be in “Trip details” for guests’ easy reference after they’ve made the booking.

We’ll notify you once your enhanced profile is available. Then, simply share your profile link to attract new guests or to give returning guests a fast and easy way to book with you again.

Make the most of longer bookings

Weekly and monthly trips help boost under-performing cars, have less turnover when you’re busy, and are less likely to have claims.

Take advantage of growing demand for weekly and monthly bookings with these improvements.

Round-up of monthly trip pricing improvements

A number of bold changes have recently been made to monthly trips to help maximize your profitability, while also offering competitive, inclusive pricing for guests to help increase demand for longer bookings.

  • Recommended monthly discounts were reduced from 60-70% to 45% with a paired distance limit of 1,800 miles to help boost hosts’ earnings. Hosts can earn an average of $736 per month with the 45% discount — that’s 39% higher earnings than with the old 60% discount.
  • Turo stopped charging trip fees for monthly bookings in most markets since March 2025, to help make pricing for longer trips more competitive.
  • Guest protection prices for monthly bookings have been reduced by 50% in the US to further lower the total price guests see when shopping around.

Take the guesswork out of earnings for longer trips

New clarity around monthly trip maintenance

Now, hosts can ask their guests to take care of routine maintenance during a 30+ day trip. Oil changes, tire rotations, wiper blade replacements and fluids, coolant, and air filters for the engine or cabin are all examples of routine maintenance.

After the host requests the basic maintenance, the guest has two weeks to take the car to the shop. The host approves the shop, authorizes the work, agrees to the cost, and pays.
