Take a break with these pretty pictures

Every few Fridays we like to bring you moments of zen in the form of some of our favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. Let’s keep the fun going. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.

Cadillac was positively rolling in the middle of last century. Their gorgeous, top-of-the-line luxury cruisers were hugely influential on design trends and tastes, and simply offered the dreamiest, softest ride you could find. Mark’s ‘63 Cadillac 62 in Utah is a gorgeous example of Cadillac’s dreamboats of the time.

This Caddy wears a confident chin and somewhat subdued rear fins, and the Matador Red finish accentuates its stately presence nicely. The 62 is a behemoth of a vehicle — it measures 18.5 feet from nose to tail, which is a full foot longer than the current year’s Cadillac Escalade. But its 390-ci V8 makes enough grunt (325 horsepower) to waft the Caddy along without a fuss; its automatic transmission, light-touch steering, and mattress-soft suspension are all carefully aligned for the finest, most comfortable ride available.

Check out Mark’s Cadillac in Park City for some vintage cruising while the weather’s still good.
