Take a break with these pretty pictures
Every few Fridays, we like to bring you moments of zen in the form of some of our favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. Let’s keep the fun going. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.
Say hello to the newest model from Polestar, Volvo’s electric sub-brand. The 2025 Polestar 3 is a midsize EV with Swedish simplicity and a lot going for it. But there are a ton of midsize crossovers to choose from, so how does this new car stand out from the crowd?

The Polestar 2 has proven itself as a stylish alternative to the Tesla Model 3, and Polestar keeps a lot of the same look and feel with their 3. It has the clean, minimal design that many electric cars try to achieve, but Polestar seems to do it better than most. This car has a crispy, sloping roofline, a huge glass ceiling, and a giant central screen that controls most functions. But the 3 has some things you don’t expect to see. The nose hides a front wing that funnels air over the hood, and there are a couple places with text relaying the car’s specs, almost like ingredients on food wrappers — the battery size is displayed on the outside, and interior material info is printed on the seats.

EVentures’ Polestar 3 here is a base Long Range Single Motor version, which has 295 horsepower and does up to about 350 miles on a single charge. You can get 510 horses out of the top-of-the-line Performance trim, but this one’s excellent range is a big perk. Otherwise, it drives like higher-end EVs do — brisk acceleration, decent steering feel, highly customizable driving settings. Whether it’s more compelling than similar EVs from Tesla, Porsche, or Mercedes-Benz may be up to you, though, so give it a try and see how it stacks up!
