Luxury whips, Monte Carlo style

This weekend, the streets of Monaco will overflow with exotics, hypercars, and luxurious coaches as the world’s wealthiest party people converge to watch the Monaco Grand Prix. The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the original Formula One races and is one of the most famous and prestigious motorsports events in the world.

With its exclusive hotels, casinos, shops, and stunning ocean views, Monaco is the ultimate playplace for the uber-rich. It’s like a classy European mix between Las Vegas and Dubai, except Monaco is also its own sovereign country. The Mediterranean city-state has been ruled by the House of Grimaldi since 1927 and today is a major tourist destination, banking hub, and tax haven for the ultra-wealthy.

The Monaco Grand Prix takes place on the narrow streets of Monaco and is one of racing’s biggest spectacles. The storied Circuit de Monaco is incredibly demanding for both drivers and their cars, offering one of the toughest challenges in Formula One. Together with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it completes the Triple Crown of Motorsport.

The streets of Monaco are always teeming with the finest supercars and luxury automobiles, but during the legendary Grand Prix, the wealth is turned up to eleven. The occasion draws rich folks from around the world to this paradise on the edge of the French Riviera to watch the events, gamble, party, and show off — they bring their opulent cars with them, each more expensive than the next. In Monaco, there’s always a nicer car.

To participate in the showing off, we’ve compiled some of the most exciting and exclusive machines currently on Turo. All of these jewels hail from our Super Deluxe category and are reserved for travellers aged 30 years and older. Please peruse, at your leisure, a few of our finest examples from each of the most deserving makes on Turo.
