Take a break with these pretty pictures
Every few Fridays we like to bring you moments of zen in the form of some of our favorite motorcars from around the Turo marketplace. Let’s keep the fun going. We like cars, you like cars, so let’s look at some cars.
As far as iconic, recognizable cars go, it’s hard to beat the Beetle. Anyone alive in the ‘60s, ‘70s, or ‘80s either owned or knew someone who owned this ubiquitous Volkswagen. You’ll still see old Beetles everywhere in the wild today, in a whole variety of conditions. Daren’s gorgeous little Beetle cabriolet comes from 1972 — the era that is, to some, the sweet spot of the Type 1 Beetle’s decades-long production run. It’s in fabulous form, from the glossy bright orange paint to the upholstery to the black cloth top.

Daren’s Super Beetle — a slightly bigger bug than the standard Beetle — happens to be automatic, so any eligible driver can enjoy its sunny disposition while cruising around Southern California. It’s been an especially gloomy winter for much of North America, so as we embrace spring’s arrival, brighten up your drive with Daren’s warm little convertible!
