We're a seasoned Turo owner that ensures each car is well maintained, each renter is happy with their experience, and each trip goes as smoothly as possible to the extent of our abilities. Please read our hundreds of reviews to get a sense of the type of service we provide. We've addressed most applicable guideline inquiries in the "Guidelines" section of this listing. Please refer to the guidelines if you have any guideline related questions. If you have any other questions or concerns, please refer to the following: 1) Pick up and drop off hours are between 6 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. There is no way for you to pick up or drop off the car between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. 2) You can pick up the car from your requested pick up time until 9:45 p.m (e.g. if your pick up time is 11 a.m., you can pick up the car any time from 11 a.m. until 9:45 p.m.). 3) You can drop off the car from 6 a.m. until your requested drop off time (e.g. if your drop off time is 5 p.m., you can drop off the car any time from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m.). 4) If you choose LAX as your pickup and drop-off location, the car will be at the Turo LAX Lot. The Turo LAX Lot is located on the second level of the parking lot behind the Custom Hotel at: 8639 Lincoln Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90045 When you land at LAX, call a regular Uber/Lyft/cab to the Custom Hotel. ​Once you arrive at the Turo LAX Lot, Turo employees will reimburse your regular Uber/Lyft/cab (up to $20) and handle the check in. Turo employees will also call you a complimentary Uber to LAX when you drop off the car. 5) We welcome last minute bookings. We'll try our best to accommodate you if possible. Here are a few basic guidelines to follow: Your trip includes 24/7 roadside assistance. If you need roadside assistance, please call (866)735-2901 and choose option “1” for roadside assistance. Please enable notifications from Turo on your phone so that we can communicate more effectively. The allowed miles are listed on Turo. Please make sure you’re aware of the number of miles included for your trip. There will be a fee for additional miles driven. In case of an accident, the Turo Insurance ID Card is in the glovebox and is also available on the app when you view the trip details. Please take pictures of the vehicle info (license plate and VIN), driver’s license info, and insurance info of all parties involved. Please call Turo to report the accident immediately. Turo’s customer service number is (866)735-2901. Please also inform us of the details of the accident and share all relevant documents. If you get a parking ticket, please pay it asap. If you don't pay it asap, we will get a copy of the ticket in the mail. You will then be charged the following on Turo: 1) the cost of the ticket, 2) all relevant processing fees administered by the issuing body, 3) and $20 per ticket from us for having to deal with your ticket. The car is not equipped with a toll pass. Please do not take any toll roads without paying the toll. If you take a toll road, we will get a copy of the toll in the mail. You will then be charged the following on Turo: 1) the cost of the toll, 2) all relevant processing fees administered by the issuing body, 3) and $20 per toll from us for having to deal with your toll. Don’t drink and drive. Don’t text and drive. Don’t smoke in the car. Don’t bring any pets into the car. Don't drive the car out of the United States (i.e. Canada or Mexico). Make sure you follow all applicable rules of the road. If you run a red light that takes your picture, you will have to pay a hefty fine and the traffic violation will go on your personal driving record. Please remove all your belongings and all trash before returning the car. Please return the car with the same amount of gas as when you pick it up. You will be charged for any gas used but not refilled on Turo. The car will be clean. Please get a car wash that washes the outside and vacuums the inside before returning it. If you pick up the car clean but return it dirty, you will be charged at least a $30 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee will be much higher if there is a scent of any type of smoke. You do not need to get a car wash if you prepay for the post-trip cleaning “extra.” However, there will still be a fee if there is a scent of any type of smoke even if you already prepaid for the post-trip cleaning “extra.” There should be an iPhone cable, an Android cable, and an AUX cable (if applicable) in the car that you can use. Please make sure to leave them when you return the car. The Turo Lot’s number is (310)227-6998 if you need to reach them for any reason. It was a way better then rent a car from a regular rental company. The car was very nice, clean and according to the pictures. The communication was great too. Going from the LA airport to Turo location was very easy and practical.
