The car was really nice and clean. It drives really well and is super comfortable to be in. I had to change some details of my trip a couple times and did my best to update Craig as soon as I had any questions or adjustments. He was always super responsive. I never had to wait forever to hear the answers to my questions. I’m not used to using Turo, so any hiccups mentioned here are a result of my lack of experience. I’m used to hopping off a plane and taking a shuttle to a car rental right away, so it was a little different taking a Lyft to an exchange place where the car isn’t there waiting because there’s some travel time for the owners. My advice would be to let them know as soon as you land to give them enough time to get there before you. Also, when renting from a rental company, you take a quick look at the car and tell them to mark down any scuffs or scratches or damage and they log it. When using this service, those things are logged by taking pictures (which can be hard if you’re picking up at night) so be sure to leave some time to take those. All-in-all the experience was way better than dealing with a rental company, and the exchange location for this car is so close to the airport, it won’t take you long to get there.
