Car was great, host made the trip more difficult than it needed to be. My flight was delayed coming into SFO (which I informed the host about). They dropped the car off about two hours before I was able to arrive at the hourly parking and I had to pay for the early drop off. Not a huge deal but it should be communicated beforehand there will be parking charges ($20). I messaged them after and mentioned this was against Turo policy and they started arguing with me..
Again car is great - but if there’s any issues beyond your control don’t expect the host to be accommodating. Also worried about them retaliating somehow after I leave this review so not closing out this trip with any peace of mind.
Trip could’ve been great - but now won’t rent from this host again in small part for the undisclosed charge, and in large part due to how they handled me bringing it to their attention they were violating Turo policy.
