First time using Turo and can’t be happier. Matthew was very responsive, understanding and supportive. He made the process easy with pick up and answered all of my questions. Rented this 15 passenger Van to head to Tahoe with the whole family for my wife’s birthday and they all fit well including our shade and coolers. Thank you for everything Matthew. Will rent again, kids wanted to keep the van.

2 vans both had major safety issues :
The first van (2013)
There was not enough working seat belts in the van to fit the description. Two seats didn’t have lap belts. Then Matt tried to tell me lap belts were not needed. So I sent him the CA code stating it has been a law since 1996. He left me on read for 14 hours until I call Turo. Turo gives host 30 mins to respond to safety issues. I called the next day mid morning. Turo called him themselves. He told Turo yes I give them another van. He then wanted to fix it not give us another van. So we meet up the drop off location he tried to bolt the lap belt to the bottom of the Bench seat …weird that wasn’t the solution. So after I told him I was already late which he knew from our messages the day before when he left me on read. he gave me another vehicle GREAT ! Should have been Perfect! Except in new van (the 2017) the sliding door kept saying it was ajar going down the high way. The seat right next to the sliding door was stuck leaning forward. So no one could sit there even if the door was shut securely. To top it off there was someone’s Opiate narcotic pills left stuffed down in the seat by the belt buckle; my 8 YEAR old found them.

Great van to accommodate a large family. Easy to drive.

The van is super clean and drives well. Matthew was responsive when I messaged him. Overall, excellent experience I will rent from him again the next time I need a large van.
