Description

Here is your DFW ride to move plenty of people with style! This van can comfortably seat up to 10 (driver plus nine) and still has a ton of storage space to spare, because the back row is only a half row - plenty of room for suitcases, baby strollers, or even a comfortable place for your dog to ride. Even with a full load you'll have plenty of power thanks to the V8 engine. The backup camera makes it easier to drive despite its size, and it handles very nicely! When it comes to seat comfort and leg room, this Nissan NV is a winner. This was originally my family's vehicle, and when we were shopping for a van, we compared the NV with the Chevrolet Express and Ford Transit - the NV was noticeably more comfortable than both. That made our decision easy, and it will make your ride in this vehicle that much easier and more enjoyable. The van is also equipped with Sirius XM radio, Bluetooth, and front and rear standard 110V electrical outlets for plenty of ways to connect, work, or play on the road. One more fun extra is the Magnaflow exhaust system on this van - you're guaranteed to sound cooler than every other van on the road! This van has been enjoyed by both my own family and by dozens of Turo guests. You could be next!

FAQs

  • How does the toll pass work (and tolls in general)?

The van is equipped with an NTTA Toll Tag, which can be used in all of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, and most of Colorado and Florida as well. The NTTA Toll Tag gives you much lower rates than paying out-of-pocket for tolls. Your toll usage will be billed to you through Turo after your trip is over (whether NTTA Toll Tag tolls or any other tolls you incur during your trip).

  • I noticed a dashcam in the van. Is it recording my driving?

There is a dashcam that dates back to when the van was used as a personal vehicle, long before it was on Turo. The dashcam is not operational and is not connected in any way. You can see for yourself if you want: peek under the glovebox and you can see the USB plug for the dashcam that is left disconnected.

This was our first time using Turo, and it was for a long road trip from Texas to Cali (24 hours there and back!) We had 8 travelers, 4 adults and 4 adult-size teenage boys. Overall we had a comfortable ride, given our personal circumstances. Based on our experience for such a long road trip, I would say 8 adults is the max for comfort, but would be better with smaller children. We had plenty of room for luggage and 3 snowboards. The van drove good, but was a bit shakey when braking. The hosts were great and responded quickly. Upon pickup, the van was clean and looked well kept, normal wear for it's age. It did decent on gas as well which was a plus with California gas prices. We went skiing about an hour away from where we were staying, we bought chains just in case but luckily didn't need them, and the van did just fine on the roads when we hit the snow (roads were well treated). Overall very happy with this rental, our family made lots of memories on our Christmas road trip to Cali!

A group of 9 of us visited the Arlington/Dallas area and having this large van was invaluable to being able to get around. The van was clean, in pretty good shape, and drove well for its age. The hosts were very helpful when we needed an adjustment to the pickup/drop off location, which was very much appreciated. Pickup and delivery was a breeze with their lockbox. The only negative part was all the extra fees and charges added thru Turo. Overall, I like using Turo and I would definitely recommend this van and these hosts.
