⚠️ Rental Guidelines ⚠️ 🛞 No Off-Roading 🛞 Please note that off-roading with our Rivian R1T is strictly prohibited. This high performance electric vehicle is designed for on-road use only. If drivers are found to be using the vehicle for off-roading activities and we discover such misuse, penalties may apply. These penalties could include charges for damages incurred during off-road use, particularly to tires and other components. 🚭 No Smoking 🚭 Smoking, marijuana, e-vapes are not allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to Turo and charge in excess $150 for detail and cleaning services. 🐶 Pet Policy 🐶 While we love furry friends, unfortunately, pets aren't allowed inside the Rivian R1T cabin. If any pet hair is found after your trip, a $175 cleaning fee will be applied. 🛠️ Accident & Damage 🛠️ Please report any damage to the vehicle immediately. Claim must be filed on Turo as well. 🚦 Parking and Violations 🚦 Any parking tickets or toll violations acquired during your rental period will be your responsibility. We'll charge you through the Turo app once we receive the notice, ensuring a smooth checkout process.

• Does the car need to be returned with full charge?

  The car will be given with at least 300 miles charged. It will need to be returned the same or above. The following is the charging fee assessed if not returned at same level. * We recommend the Prepaid EV charging that is available for $40 (Just make sure the vehicle is returned with at least 30 miles of range left).

• How do I charge the vehicle?

  For your convenience, we will provide a Portable Rivian Charger that plugs into a 240v nema 14-50 outlet and charges at about 16 miles/hour. It will also have a 120v normal outlet adapter that chargers much slower at about 3 miles/hour. This accessory must be returned at the end of the rental or we will need to charge $400, the cost of the Rivian Charger. You can also utilize any Electrify America network charger.

• Is smoking permitted?

  No Smoking! If there is any lingering cigarette, marijuana, e-vape smelling. We will have to report it to Turo and charge in excess of $150 for additional detail and cleaning services.

• Do we have to clean or wash the car when returning?

  The customer is not expected to clean or disinfect the vehicle before returning. However, if the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior, we will report to Turo. Turo customer support will then review the evidence and charge a cleaning violation of $150 and possible removal from Turo.
