HOME LOCATION We offer both In-Person and Self Check-In at this location. Please let us know which option you prefer. The Cybertruck is parked in the garage of the Grand America Hotel. A detailed description of it's location will be provided after you book a trip. This truck has a parking pass, so there is no charge to enter and exit the garage with this vehicle. You will be responsible for your own parking fees if you leave your personal vehicle in the garage while renting the Cybertruck. AIRPORT LOCATION We only offer Self Check-In at this location. Picking the Cybertruck up at the airport has parking fees in addition to the $25 delivery fee. You are responsible for paying the parking fee when picking up the vehicle, and we will pay the parking fee when we retrieve it. There are two parking lot options, fees vary depending on the option you choose. Economy is the least expensive, but the least convenient option for you to locate the vehicle. The Parking Garage is the most convenient option, but it is more expensive. Here are the rates for each option: Economy: $2 first hour $1 each additional hour $12 daily max Parking Garage: $5 per hour $40 daily max We will do our best to deliver the vehicle as close to the scheduled trip start time, and will never exceed the daily maximum. You will be expected to return the vehicle to the same parking lot option you selected for pickup.

The booking guest is required to have adequate insurance coverage, whether personal or through TURO, to cover collision and comprehensive events if they occur.

• Does the truck have FSD?

  Yes, the truck is equipped with Full Self Driving (supervised). Please note that there is a five strike policy in place for violating the FSD policies. We can not guarantee that FSD will be available during your trip should a previous guest cause it to be revoked.

• How does the truck do in the snow?

  Because of the truck’s weight, power, and 4-wheel drivetrain, the Cybertruck is amazing in the snow, especially when equipped with the right tires. This truck will be fitted with Blizzak snow tires from November to April.

• Can I request an in person check-in, and get a tutorial when I pick up the truck?

  Absolutely! I can arrange to meet with you and give you a tutorial from the home location at the Grand America Hotel downtown. If I have a scheduling conflict, or if you’re picking up from the Salt Lake City Airport, I'm always happy to jump on a phone call and do the tutorial virtually. Please let me know if you would like me to send you links for tutorials online prior to your booking as well.

• Will the truck have a full charge when I pick it up?

  The truck will have between 75% to 85% charge when you pick it up. This is the level of charge the truck is required to have when it is returned (unless you paid for pre-charging). Please do not charge the truck to 100% unless going long distances, and driving soon after charging to this level.

• Does your truck have free supercharging?

  No, this truck does not have free supercharging. Any on-trip charging at a Tesla charger will be billed to my card. I will settle these charges with you through the TURO app once the trip concludes. Please note that you can not leave the truck connected to a Tesla charger for more than 5 minutes after it is done charging, or you will be billed an idling fee of up to $1 per minute.

• Do you have a charger in the truck?

  Yes, there is a 110v charger and adapter located under the back seat. Please note, the slow charger is useful for preventing fantom draining in cold weather and adding charge overnight, but not an efficient way to recharge the truck to 80%.
