Kevin said this was the first time he’s rented this car. I however, have rented a car from MCO through Turo which was amazing. For starters, the car was dropped off at an offsite parking lot where I had to take a shuttle from the airport that comes ever 20 minutes to get to the car. The car was parked the day before instead of that day so I had to pay additional for parking. I told Kevin to park in either Terminal A or B for future rents as it is connected to the airport and easily assessable and you don’t need a shuttle to get to the vehicle. Second, my first trip the renter required me to do pictures of the vehicle prior to me picking up and include any damage. This one did not require me to do so so I didn’t. I should have. When I returned the car I had just went through the car wash and filled it up. I returned the car at Terminal B so he could see where the parking was so it’s easier for the next renter. Anyways, back to the car and pictures. I should have taken pictures of the car on my own and done my due diligence. After I landed back home I was told there was damages that were not there when I had picked it up. Kevin uploaded pictures prior and the “damages” were on the roof of the Jeep and Kevin did not originally upload any pictures of the roof of the Jeep but afterwards did showing damage. I did not scratch the roof of the Jeep and Turo will back me on this because there were never pictures of the roof of the Jeep before I picked it up, just like there were not scratches of the bed when I picked it up. Kevin wanted to work these “damages” out with me instead of going through Turo. To a point I felt like he was nit picking things on the car such as dirt on a seat and condensation in the cup holders from where my water bottle was but wouldn’t answer my questions about why there were pads in the car and a mask that did not belong to me. I didn’t like that. There was a scuff on the roof and I accidentally left an unopened drink and a pair of socks in the back so I told him I would agree to pay for the scuff that could probably be wet wiped out and a cleaning of the interior. The next day I received an invoice for 27.25 for cleaning and that was it. In a way I felt like he was trying to get money out of me and it rubbed me the wrong way. Overall the vehicle is fun to drive if you’re staying in Orlando and just commuting around town but I don’t think I would rent a Jeep again, especially if you have a family. Nothing against this one, it’s just not for me.
