Important Note about Turo Protection Plans: Feel free to purchase a protection plan if you prefer, but keep in mind that your personal insurance might already cover your Turo rental. In my experience, about 50% of personal insurance policies do cover it, while 50% don't. It's a good idea to check with your insurance provider before opting for an additional protection plan from Turo. As with all Turo rentals, there are certain restrictions to note: Towing: Towing is not allowed, nor is it covered by any Turo protection plan. Off-Roading: Despite the CyberTruck's capabilities, off-roading is prohibited (Per TURO Rules). Unfortunately, Turo's protection plans do not cover this, even if you have purchased one. Smoking: Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited, and there's a substantial $250 penalty for violating this rule. However, Monterey offers stunning views, so if you need to smoke, please do so outside the vehicle, perhaps take a seat on the tailgate, and enjoy the scenery. Pets: Pets are not generally allowed. However, I can make exceptions for small dogs or if you use a seat protector, etc. This is to ensure the vehicle remains free from pet hair and safe for guests who may have allergies.

• Can I use Tesla Superchargers, and how does that work?

  YES! You can use any Tesla Supercharger; just back the truck and plug it in. The supercharging network will recognize the truck and charge it to my Tesla account. After the rental is over, I'll send you an invoice with the cost through the Turo app. (There are no additional fees, you pay what I pay).

• How much do I need to recharge it before returning the vehicle?

  50% or more is fine. Even if it's below 50% I only charge $20 to recharge it after you return it (so no need to stress).

• If my hotel has a charger can I use this?

  YES! I highly recommend charging overnight; it's the most convenient way to charge. If your hotel has a non-Tesla charger, simply use the provided J1772 adapter, and you should be able to use most other charger brands at hotels.
