Its got all of the practicality and utility of a stout truck, and all of the fun factors of an open air and offroad capable Jeep. This Gladiator is the perfect family truckster for overpacked road trips and a go anywhere, do anything vehicle. Despite the length, she’s easy to park anywhere she has the space to do so with a very clear backup camera display. The Mojave version that this one is, offers an incredibly sophisticated Fox suspension system as well as other reinforced frame and suspension components that are unique to the Mojave package only. It also includes a fancy rear locking differential and extra-high clearance fenders from the the Rubicon for when off-roading gets extra hairy. Also unique to the Mojave are the hood, wheels, and orange/copper trim. The ride quality is sporty but enjoyable. It’s probably one of the few and only vehicles that can handle the ridiculously pothole riddled and buckled streets of New Orleans in comfort and style. The soft top of course allows for more road noise, but you don’t have to yell for your passengers to hear each other when on the interstate. And the soft top makes it easier to have fun much more quickly. I rented a Gladiator once on Turo, and was immediately sold on getting our own for my family.
