Tacoma trucks are ubiquitous here; you'll need to be careful not to walk up to the wrong truck in the grocery store parking lot! This is a great truck for enjoying all that Kaua’i has to offer. We offer complementary delivery for trips that start and end at Lihue Airport, using Turo's convenient shuttle (see more information below). In addition, our vehicles are great for visitors who are staying in the Poipu area, Kauai's largest resort area. Don't bother dealing with a rental car at the airport: Take a shuttle, Lyft/Uber, or taxi between the airport and your lodging on the south side, and book our truck for deliver to your resort, hotel, house, or condo. When making your reservation, select one of the Poipu area resorts or select "guest's location" and enter your rental house or condo address, anywhere within the Poipu or Koloa area. For a small $20 fee, the vehicle will be at your doorstep. One-way trips between multiple locations including the airport are also possible. This vehicle is priced for long bookings. We offer the following discounts: • 5% discount for bookings of 3 days or more • 20% discount for bookings of 7 days or more • 27% discount for bookings of 14 days or more • 36% discount for bookings of 30 days or more • 45% discount for bookings of 60 days or more Our Tacoma seats up to 5 people, although it's better for 4. It can be a bit tight for people over 6 feet tall to sit in the back, especially with tall people in front. If you have four people, you will need to put your luggage in the bed for airport travel. Or if you opt to have the truck delivered to you at a resort or house in Poipu, you won't have to worry about luggage and can just enjoy the truck for your day trips. Our Tacoma has bluetooth, backup camera, bed liner, surfboard rack, and more. Guidelines: - Our truck is in excellent condition; please treat it like you would your own. - Do not take the truck off of paved roads. Turo prohibits driving off of paved roads. The truck is equipped with GPS. - Try to avoid parking where the vehicle might get door dings. - No smoking in or near the vehicle. - No pets. - Do not use spray sunscreen in or near the vehicle. - Please avoid transferring sunscreen from bodies to seats or other surfaces. - If the truck is left excessively dirty (inside or out), a cleaning fee may be charged (typical dirt from normal use is fine). - Do not use any automatic car wash except Sudz. ***Airport Delivery Information*** Turo operates a shuttle from Lihue Airport to a remote parking lot about 10 minutes away (near Target, Costco, and other shopping options). Typically I will unlock the truck for you remotely upon your arrival for a contactless check-in, but sometimes I (or a cohost) will be able to meet you in person.
